Today I have a card to share with you that was inspired by 2 challenges at Christian Paper Crafts: Sketch Tuesday 101 and Bible Verse Thursday 99.
Here is the sketch that Gloria challenged us with:
For Bible Verse Thursday, Angie gave us the creative prompt: Measure Up.
I decided to go with this definition of measure: a certain quantity or degree of something
I began to browse through all my scripture stamps and I came up with John 3:16 and I thought, "if that isn't a measure of love, I don't know what is".
So that, my friends is how this card came into being...
- Sweet n Sassy digital stamp-Bible
- Verve Stamps-Easter Blessings
- Cricut & George and Basic Shapes Cartridge
- Soft Sky & Whisper White Cardstock- Stampin' Up!
- Spring Silhouettes Designer Series Paper- Stampin' Up!

- Memento Black Ink
- Soft Sky Stampin' Up! Classic Ink
Now, if you look over at my sidebar on the right you will notice a badge for a promotion that Christian Paper Crafts is running for free General Memberships the week of April 20-27. I encourage you to take the time to register at the site and join during this promotion. This is a $9.95 value for an annual membership. You do not have to be a Christian to be a part of the community. Come as you are and enjoy the challenges and the wonderful friendships you will make. There is something for everyone whether you are a die-hard stamper, scrapbooker, creating with the Cricut or other die-cutting systems. The great thing about Christian Paper Crafts is that it is a small group of women who really care about one another and you won't feel like you are lost in the crowd. Also it's a private community so, you can feel safe sharing your projects in the gallery and joining in on some of the more personal conversations.
And from April 20-27, 2011 it's free to join so, you really have nothing to lose. If you decide to join I hope that you will leave me a comment letting me know or if you have any questions about the site email me directly using the email button on my profile page.
