Here is the sketch Gloria created for us this week:
This is definitely my kind of sketch and I couldn't wait to play along this week.
This is what I came up with:
I started out with a card base of 7 1/4 x 5 1/4 that I cut with my Cricut and Just Because Cards cartridge. This is an awesome cartridge for cutting out card bases. All of the basic shapes and fancy cuts you see on the card today were all cut from that same cartridge. Every single layer on this card has the edges inked. I just can't stop with the inking! I've used a fabulous set from Verve Stamps called "Easter Elegance" and it is on sale right now at Verve. You should definitely check it out!
Supplies:
- Verve - Easter Elegance stamp set
- SU - Springtime Vintage DSP, Baja Breeze & Pear Pizzazz CS, Flower Adornments, Soft Sky & Pear Pizzazz Classic Ink
- Cuttlebug & Embossing Folder
- Cricut & Just Because Cards cartridge
Love how you used your Cricut for this! I never think to pull mine out for cards! Beautiful Jennipher!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! Incredible textures and color palette. Love the way you sponged the medallion piece. So glad you did a Christian Easter card. I love the bunnies, the spring chicks, the eggs and baskets, but this card is for the real reason. :-)
