Viva la Verve April #1

Each week on Friday, the Verve Divas challenge everyone to create based on a sketch they have designed. For week one of April it was Verve Diva Amber and here is her sketch:
While I enjoy sketches with lots of layers, this one was a real bear!
Right now, I am in love with Pear Pizaaz from Stampin Up!® It's a really different shade of green and one of their In-Colors from last fall. It is definitely an 'in-color' because it is coordinating perfectly with a lot of other brands of designer paper collections such as the one used here from DCWV - Blossom Song. All of my scalloped-edge layers were cut from the Elegant Edges cartridge from Cricut. I used the stamp set "Easter Joy" from Verve Stamps to stamp the row of eggs and my sentiment. The eggs were colored with Copics. Of course I did my usual distressed and/or inked edges and I even inked the white flowers to make them blend in with all the shades of green. Since Easter is tomorrow, this will be my last Easter card for this season. It's time to pull out some other stamps to play with!

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful and blessed Easter Sunday.
