I don't do a lot of cutesy cards. However, there is one cute little mouse that I just can't resist. His name is Cocoa and he is featured on my card today!
This stamp set from Sweet n Sassy Stamps is appropriately named "Feeling Fruity Cocoa"! I used a base of Pretty in Pink CS from SU to which I added some Berry Bliss DSP. Do you all remember that one? Or did I go too far back in my stash? I inked the edges of the Pretty in Pink CS with Tattered Rose Distress Inks and it gave it more of a light red tone. I mounted the reverse side of the Berry Bliss DSP to some Purely Pomegranate CS and ran it through my Cuttlebug with the Fleur de Lis embossing folder. Using Elegant Edges and my Cricut I cut out the scalloped squares- one to stamp my image on and one to mount the stamped image on. I added a Prima flower with some random button from my stash to complete the card.

This card also qualifies for the Crazy 4 Cocoa challenge at the Sweet n Sassy Connection. This week's challenge is anything goes. If you are not already a member of the Sweet n Sassy Connection and you love Sweet n Sassy Stamps then you definitely need to come join us! There is lot's of fun stuff going on over there.
I'm also playing along for the first time with the Stamps R Us challenge blog. Their challenge this week was Pets R Us - use a pet on your card and you could be creative in your selection of a pet. Cocoa Mouse is currently the only animal stamp I have so he will have to do for my pet this week!
Thanks for stopping by!
