Today I decided to explore the "Photo Card" creative feature on the Life's a Beach Cricut cartridge.
I believe that this feature is intended for actually making a card with a photo that compliments the beachy themed cuts on this cartridge. However, I decided to use the window cut-out to design an island scene.
|Instead of having to make extra cuts in different colors, I used a direct-to-paper inking technique to alter the color of the cardstock for the palm trees and the mound of sand.|
|Meet "Beach Baby Jayme"! She is a darling digital image designed by Crissy Armstrong and I just had to have her. I colored here with copics and added some Stickles to accent. I used Ruby Red Liquid Pearls for her lipstick. You can find her here ➠ Whismy Stamps|
Sunday's With Crissy is having a Design Team Call! Crissy designed the "Beach Baby Jayme" image I used on my card today. You can read all about the details and apply by clicking the link below.
