Here is an update on Mom: She is recovering well from surgery and is scheduled to be discharged from the hospital on Wednesday. We had hoped to be able to bring her home and have the therapist come out to the house to work with her but after speaking with the doctor today, he advises against that. He says it really would be in her best interest to go to a skilled nursing facility for approximately 14-20 days to get properly rehabilitated. So, with heavy hearts we made the decision to send her to get properly rehabilitated. I've never had to make a harder decision in my life. I know that it is not permanent but, it hurts none the less.
I spent a couple of nights in the hospital and the one thing I found you can do in the hospital while you are just sitting there is color! So I printed out several pages of digi images, loaded up my copics, and off to stay with my Mom I went. Now, I just have to make cards to go with all these pre-colored images.
Tonight's card is one using this darling angel from Crissy Armstrong. It is called "Say a Prayer" and can be purchased here ➠ Wags n Whiskers.

I colored her with copics and then added some Stickles around her wing, on the sash on her dress, and in the creases of her dress. |
Sunday's With Crissy is having a Design Team Call! Crissy designed the "Say a Prayer" image I used on my card today. You can read all about the details and apply by clicking the link below.

Thanks for stopping by today! And thanks again for all the prayers and thoughts on my Mom.
So glad to read of your Mom's continued recovery! Love your card too...you color well while at the hospital!
