The challenge today over at
Stampin' Sisters in Christ based off this scripture:
Psalm 46:10 ~ Be Still and Know that I am God
is to make a clean and simple card. Clean and simple is not my style and I really struggle with it but, I wanted to play along in the challenge.
Let's take a closer look at the details...
 |
Using the Flourished Frame embossing folder and some Groovy Guava cardstock, I created a single panel that would serve as both the design and placement for my scripture sentiment. This scripture stamp is from Verve Stamps. I stamped the scripture in Brilliance Coffee Bean ink and then embossed it with Stampendous Red Dragon embossing powder. |

I punched out the corners using SU's corner ticket punch. Using the foam distress tool from Tim Holtz I sponged Groovy Guava ink onto the cardstock to make the embossed areas stand out more. I added some copper spiral clips to the upper right and lower left corners and then adhered that panel to a card base made from Soft Suede cardstock. This was a super quick and easy card to make. |

ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely example of a CAS card, and you used color instead of white space, which is what I always turn to when I have to make one. Great verse too. Thanks for joining us this week at Stampin' Sisters in Christ!
