Sweet Stop Sketch 122

Hello everyone! It's Saturday and I hope that you are off to a wonderful weekend! Saturday also means that it's time for another sketch from the Sweet Stop. Before, I get into the sketch I wanted to share some news with you...This week Korin, the owner of Sweet n Sassy Stamps/Sweet Stop announced that they have become a Member Company at Splitcoast Stampers! The excitement all began on Monday with the August New Release party held in their brand new Member Company forum on SCS. Nothing has changed as far as the Sweet Stop sketches and they will still be hosted at the Sweet Stop blog. If you are a member of the Sweet n Sassy Connection that is still operating as usual. There is one new thing...A new challenge called the Sweet n Sassy Inspiration challenge that can be found in the member company forum at SCS. I combined the inspiration challenge with the sketch.

Here is Taylor's inspiration piece...

Here is Korin's sketch with a spin for this week...

Here is my card combining the two challenges...

Supplies:
Paisley and Petals DSP, Baja Breeze CS, Always Artichoke CS, - Stampin' Up!®; Frayed Burlap and Broken China distress inks - Ranger Industries; Lace-WalMart; Button-Basic Grey; Flower-CTMH; August Gladiola stamp set - Sweet n Sassy Stamps; Victoria embossing folder-Provo Craft; Lacey Labels cartridge, Cricut Expression - vvs

I used the Frayed Burlap distress ink over the raised areas of the of the Victoria embossing folder so that the embossed detail would be more visible. I inked the edges of the half-circle with Broken China distress ink as well as directly inking the white flower with the same ink to have the flower stand out more.

Be sure to visit my fellow Sugar Babies to see what they did with the sketch...

Join us at the Sweet Stop to play along and link up your creation! Have a blessed weekend!

  20. What a beautiful card Jennipher. I love the colors and the flower on the lower left with the darker blue how it captures the lighter blue of the middle one and pulls them together. The texture is great too!

    Have a great day!
