The Challenge: create a card that reflects a sentiment for "baby"
The Twist: use some form of stitching on your card...hand, machine, or faux, the choice is yours. Our sponsor this week is my dear friend Cindy Coutts. Cindy gave me my first chance ever in the paper-crafting design world by inviting me to join her design team at Christian Paper Crafts Magazine. We became fast friends and she's someone I admire and look up to in the industry. I will always be grateful to Cindy for giving me that first chance!
Cindy is giving away a mini-set from Stampin' Up!® called "Something for Christmas" to one lucky U.S. participant.
Also, Cindy is doing this great video series on her blog called the Twelve Days of Christmas and there are prizes each day. You really should check it out!
Now, on to my card...
I knew that I wanted to use my Bazzill "sweet baby" stitching template. So, the stitching part was covered. And I have tons of baby patterned paper so, no worries there either. I'm not sure what happened but, this is not my "fave" style of card.
Here's a side view but, it's not going to look any better, lol...
Here's the good news...my Design Team and Guest Designers did an incredible job with this challenge! So go check out their blogs for some real inspiration:

We are our own worst critics! I think your card is adorable! Love the stitched sentiment! Someone is going to be tickled pink to receive this sweet card! Have a fabulous day!
ReplyDeleteYes, as Ellen above said. I do it myself. Your card is beautiful, the time and creativity you put into stitching it, so pretty. The flowers really bring it altogether. I also love the pink kissed edges around the pink and white paper.
ReplyDeleteIt's delightful!! I love the stitching, I've not used templates such as this but I may want to check them out!!!

ReplyDeleteI'm very familiar with the 'this isn't what I want it to be' reaction to a card! And it's a tough place to be when you have to meet a deadline! =) I love the colors, and I think it has great potential! The stitching is great!
