If you are not familiar with them they are a challenge blog dedicated to using those die-cut machines we all just had to have. Raise your hand if you fall into this category!
Our challenge this week is called Tags, Tags, & More Tags and it is sponsored by the wonderful Whimsie Doodles. They gave us some adorable Christmas images to work with and I will be showcasing three of those images here today on my tags.
I decided to use my Cricut along with my Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cartridge to cut out my tag bases.
Let's have a look...
Here we have the Penguin. He just looked plain cold to me so I thought a background of embossed snowflakes would suit him well. I used my snowflake Cuttlebug embossing folder and then inked over the raised areas with Soft Sky ink. This is a retired color from Stampin' Up but, I still love it and I used the matching ribbon or the bow. I used the same label as above to stamp "Let it Snow" on.
All of the sentiments I used today are from Verve's Holiday Phrases stamp set.
This was a lot of fun and I hope you are inspired to get out whatever tag dies or cartridges you may have and make some tags. If you do, be sure to come share them with us over at Die Cuttin' Divas!
