We all have a favorite Scripture or Quote that holds a special meaning for us. I know that I personally recited Jeremiah 29:11 everyday during a very trying time in my life. I had just been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and had to deal with excepting the diagnosis and how it would affect my life when all these other medical problems kept coming out of nowhere. In the span of a year and a half, I literally had five surgical procedures to correct other things that were wrong with me. It was affecting my personal life, my job, and my mental well-being. So, I had to have faith and believe that God had a plan for my life and that I would come out of all this a stronger person. Jeremiah 29:11 is my "life verse".
My card was made using the 2-step stamping technique with a stamp set from Stampin' Up!® called Fast and Fabulous. I used Tangerine Tango and Cajun Craze Classic Ink. My ribbon and die-cut cardstock is Groovy Guava. I used Spellbinders Labels 18 for my die cut. After stamping my Scripture on the label, I distressed the edges with Adirondack Acrylic Paint Dabber in White. My Scripture stamp is a Plain Jane from Verve. For my bows I used a technique from Stamp TV called Cheater's Bows.
Our challenge this week at The Perfect Sentiment is to use your favorite Scripture/Quote on your card along with this sketch.
You can flip or rotate the sketch to make it work for you as long as we can still see the basic outline of the sketch in your card design.
We are being sponsored this week by Shelly's Images.
Shelly will provide one lucky random winner with a free digi of their choice.
