Fall @ Sentimental Sundays

This week at Sentimental Sundays our challenge is Fall plus a sentiment.

Although I love making Fall cards I must admit it just doesn't feel right with the temperature here in NC roaring into the 90's. But the truth is, we just don't get much of a Fall here in the Carolinas and I'm going to need the Fall card eventually.

Colors I used in this card are Pear Pizzaaz and More Mustard. It makes a nice Fall combination especially when combined with the Spice Cake DSP from Stampin' Up. I used a couple of pumpkin stamps from Verve to create the stack of pumpkins and then colored them in with Copics. The More Mustard layer was embossed with a pumpkin embossing folder by Cuttlebug. I found these green buttons in my stash and they seemed to match perfectly.

In this view you can see where I outlined the pumpkins with a green glaze pen to add a little shine. And of course I sponged some ink around all the edges.

Be sure to stop by Sentimental Sundays to see what my fellow designers created.

Your card brought a smile to my face! I love fall and it will be here before you know it. Cute little pumpkins and embossed background.

It is hard to get in the mood for fall when you have that kind of heat outside. I am further south than you and I love it when summer is over.
