Grandparents Appreciation @ Sentimental Sundays

National Grandparent's Day is celebrated on the first Sunday after Labor Day Annually. This week @ Sentimental Sundays we are helping you get ready for Grandparent's Day by challenging you to create a project that shows appreciation for a Grandparent.

When I first saw this challenge, I thought I might sit it out as I don't have any living grandparents and I only got to know one of my grandparents and that was my maternal Grandma. She was a very special lady and I loved her so much. So, I started thinking, "why not make a card that is a tribute to her"? After all if she were here today, I would certainly want her to know how special she was to me.

  4. What a sweet card! I know just how you feel about your grandmother. I had a special one too and was even named after her. She had a huge impact on my life even though she died when I was in high school. Thanks for the reminder that we need to appreciate the people who mean a lot to us.

  6. Jennipher, this is lovely and such a special way to honor her. I love all of the pretty pearls. This would look great on a layout featuring a picture of your Nana and you could write special memories on the inside of the beautiful card!

  7. Jenn, what a gorgeous card made even sweeter because of the tribute it is to your grandmother. What a sweet thing to do! I LOVE the color and the papers...my fav color as you might imagine from my blog and such. The gauze flower is amazing and those liquid pearls--peacock, I must remember that. Really sweet. Sending cyber hugs your way!

  10. This is a wonderful tribute to your grandmother. Never thought to do this...I was so blessed to have the grandmother that I had...I always called her the "Proverbs 31" woman...Up early, and devoted to her family in everything she did all day long.
